Claudie met her husband Clifford when he was stationed in BC while in the Air Force. They were married June 27, 1945 and made their first home in Port Hardy, BC. In August 1945 the newlyweds made the trip to the Smith family farm at Elfros, SK, where they spent the next 50 years before moving to Saskatoon in 1994. Claudie is survived by her daughters, Janet (Ron) Matycio, Colleen Petrie and Sheila (Eric) Solvason; grandchildren, Rhonda, Dwight, Sandra (Daryl), Todd (Jessica), Lynne (Renee), Lora, Johann (Natasha); great-grandchildren, Brayden, Caylee, Austin, Sara, Dustin (Kaila), Tarrian, Taylor, Mackenzie, Ashley, Hayley, Abigail, Sienna, Asa and Ole; great-great-grandchildren, Hallie, Jaxon; and sisters-in-law, Marion Goodfellow and Marianne Smith.
