David Bain Cumberland June 16 1955 September 10 2021

Dave passed away peacefully in his Metchosin home, surrounded by family, following a diagnosis of cancer. Born and raised in Victoria, BC, spending most of his youth in the Royal Oak area and later years in Metchosin.
Predeceased by parents Stewart Lewis and Catherine Elizabeth Rosalie Cumberland and his brothers Stewart Bruce and John Ross.
Survived by spouse Jean; daughters Stephanie; Mikala and Stacey (Ken); grandkids Clay, Alisse, Keira and Hudson; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Special thanks to Drs. R. O’Connor and D. O’Connell, and Stacey, Stephanie and Paul for their compassionate loving care given during Dave’s illness.
A Remembrance will be held on October 27, 2021 at 1:30 pm in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC. Due to Covid 19 considerations, masks must be worn, and we kindly ask that all those attending be fully vaccinated. Memories and anecdotes are especially welcomed. In lieu of flowers a donation to Wild Arc or the Victoria Hospital Equipment Lending Program (HELP) through the Canadian Red Cross, is appreciated.
