In Loving Memory
Mr. Robert “Bob” Rushinko of Delhi passed away at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, on Saturday, September 25, 2021 in his 78th year. Bob loved volunteering his time for Delhi Hockey as he was on the Executive Board and a Hockey Coach in both the Minor & Junior Hockey Leagues for many years. He enjoyed spending time in all sports, especially hockey, baseball and golf. Dearest companion of Dianne Armstrong and her family. Loving father of Robin Rushinko (Kathy) and Laurie Toth (David) and their mother Janet Rushinko. Cherished grandfather of Bradley, Ryan, Jeremy, Karly, Meagan (Brock), Ainsley and Cole and great-grandfather of Bodie. Dearest brother of Richard Rushinko (Hilda) and brother-in-law of Joe Bednarz, Janette Rushinko and Nancy Rushinko. Predeceased by his two sisters, Rosie Bednarz and Rita Grys (Late Walter) and by his two brothers, Walter Rushinko and Vern Rushinko. The family wish to express a special thank you to Bob’s caring P.S.W., Yvette, the staff on 2 South at Tillsonburg Hospital and Dr. Lamb and to all the family & friends that were there for Bob during the last few weeks and months. It meant a great deal to him. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. In consideration of the continuing health and safety of our friends and family, a Private Family Funeral Service will be held with Interment in Delhi Cemetery. Memorial Donations to the London Health Science Foundation, the Delhi Community Health Centre or the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital Foundation will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
