Norman’s Obituary
Townsend, Norman Wayne – 48, passed away at Roseway Hospital, Shelburne, on September 27, 2021. Born on May 30, 1973, he was a son of Brian Townsend and the late Sharon (Foote). Norman is survived by his children, Mercedes (Tristan) Atwood and Dylan Nickerson; grandson, Declan Atwood; father, Brian Townsend; siblings, Christine (Troy) Quinlan and Joseph (Rhonda); nephews, Jamie and Roger; nieces, Shawna and Faith; special friend, Holly. Norman was predeceased by his mother, Sharon and brother, Alexander. Norman enjoyed lobster fishing, carpentry and 4 wheeling. He volunteered with the Shelburne County ATV Association. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 30, at 2 p.m. from H.M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington. There will be a livestream of this service for those unable to attend. Interment will be in Old Kirk Cemetery, North East Point. It has been requested there be family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Rosalin Nickerson Care Fund or the Shelburne County ATV Association.
