Suddenly, at her home in Port Elgin,
Daphne M. “Daffy” Grant, passed
away. Daphne was the chosen daughter of Henry and Mary
(Murray) Grant.
She was an office manager, retiring
early to care for her parents. She was often seen walking
her 8 mile daily route around the village she loved. Daphne
was a lover of animals and supporter of charities for the less
fortunate.
Arrangements are under the care and
guidance of the Jones Funeral Home,
(506-364-1300). A service for Daphne will take place at
Jones Funeral Home’s Port Elgin location, 3 W Main Street, on
Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 2 pm. All are
welcome to attend. As per
current regulations, proof of full vaccination and masks are
required.
