Obituary
Roy “Evel” was born in Ponoka, Alberta to parents Alma and Emil Hoffman and passed away at the Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre. Evel loved farming, his Brahma, his dogs and his family. He worked for Vold Jones Vold auction for many years.
Evel will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 35 years, Donna; son Ian (Jennifer); son Rodney (Becca) along with their two children; his brothers Ernest and David; his sister Georgina; sisters-in-law Cheryl (Ron) McLean and Diane Beach; brother-in-law Brian; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Evel was predeceased by his son Daniel; parents Alma and Emil Hoffman; and parents-in-law Bill and Lillian Beach.
A Private Family Funeral and Interment Service will be held on Friday, September 24 beginning at 2:30 p.m.. The Funeral Service will be live-stream broadcast at 2:30 p.m. and the recording will remain on this obituary page for 90 days. The video viewer is located at the bottom of this page.
A Public Memorial Reception will be held at the Scout Hall in Ponoka (outdoors to adhere to the current gathering restrictions) following the Interment Service (approximately 4:00 p.m.). ALL ARE INVITED to attend the Memorial Reception.
