Obituary
Judith was born June 13, 1922 in Hälla Asele, Sweden.
In 1955 Judith and her husband Einar emigrated to Canada from Sweden landing at Vancouver BC. After a few short weeks and no work, Einar was encouraged by a friend to come to Port Hardy for work. Einar and Judith made their home in Port Hardy from 1955 to 1992.
Judith and Einar had a large home with a very large yard. She had many pictures of her place in Port Hardy and loved to show the awards that they won for their beautiful yard. As many of us know, her yard in Osoyoos was beautifully kept. She worked most everyday cleaning her yard and picking up leaves.
Judith had many jobs because she was a hard worker. She worked in the McMillan Bloedel logging camp helping in the kitchen, serving meals, washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen and dining room. Judith also worked for the Port Hardy School Board cleaning an elementary school. She also worked on the BC Ferries to clean the ferry after a trip from Prince Rupert to Port Hardy. She had to have the ferry cleaned and ready to leave in the evening for the return trip to Prince Rupert. These are just a few jobs that Judith did while living in Port Hardy.
In 1992 Judith and Einar moved to Osoyoos. Judith loved Osoyoos. She loved the friends she made in Paradise Park and the many good times that she shared with neighbors and special friends.
