Beverly “Bev” Calvin Smith of Walkerton, passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton, surrounded by family on Friday, September 17, 2021, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Patricia for over 60 years, father to Sherri of Calgary, Brenda (Bryan) Elliott of Southampton, and Ang (Pat) Eckensweiler of Walkerton. Bev was the proud grandpa of Krystal (Blaire), Sunni (Mike), Jazzmon (Drew), Scotty, Mitchel, Chelsea (Adam), Brandon (Lindsay), Shala, Ryan (Bailey), and great grandpa to Shae, Blaise, River, Blair, Grayson, and Oakland. He will be missed by his brother Abby (Joan) of Elmvale, sister Mary (Tony) Claridge of Australia, sister-in-law Donna Smith of Barrie, and many nieces and nephews.
Bev is predeceased by his brother Robert, and parents Robert and Estelle Smith.
Friends and relatives are invited to visitation from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. To attend please use RSVP on Bev’s memorial page. Proof of vaccination does not apply.
A private family memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. Ann Maycock officiating. A live stream will be available to the public through Bev’s memorial page.
