Obituary
MOODIE, Dorene Sandra
Peacefully at Centennial Place Millbrook on Tuesday, September 14th, 2021 at the age of 80. Beloved sister of James, Marilyn Spate, Rodney, Eileen, Kathleen Whately, Maureen and the late Bruce. Predeceased by her parents James and Margaret Moodie (nee McKirgan). Dorene loved to read autobiographies, biographies, feminist and historical books. She was always knitting and sewing presents for her family. She had many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. For many years she had her own scooter and she could be seen scooting around the streets of Deep River. One of her favorite places was Pine Point Beach in Deep River. A very special thank you to the staff of Centennial Place and to her siblings Kathleen, Marilyn and Jim for their wonderful care of Dorene. In accordance with Dorene’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Donations in memory of Dorene can be made to the Five Counties Children’s Centre.
