1945-2021
Carolyn Ruth Killam, 76, of Sus,
passed away at The Kiwanis Nursing Home on Thursday, September 9,
2021. Born in Havelock, she was the daughter of the late Charles and
Etta (Branscombe) Killam.
Carolyn was office manager at Burner
Services Irving Oil in Saint John. She also worked in admitting at the
DVA Hospital, and then in the Office at The Saint John Regional
Hospital, until she retired in 1994. She was a former chairperson for
the Pension Committee CUPE NB Hospital Union, as well as the NB Public
Service Employee’s Retired Union. She enjoyed travelling and
reading.
Survived and sadly missed by her
brother, Harold (Letha) Killam; nieces and nephews, Leon (Debby)
Keith, Beth (Burton) Murray, Greg (Brenda) Keith, Gary (Debbie)
O’Neill, Gail (Dave) Horgan, Terry O’Neill, Karl
O’Neill, Diane (Mike) Ripley, Douglas (Tanya) Killam, Cathy
Plume; as well as many great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Carolyn was
predeceased by her sisters, Jennie Keith, Edna Plume, Willa
O’Neill; and nephews, Harold and Kenneth
Plume.
Arrangements in care of The Salisbury
Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106, Salisbury West (506-372-4800) from where
Visitation and Funeral Service will both be held on Monday, October
18, 2021. Interment in Steeves Settlement Cemetery.

Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of your choice would be
appreciated.
