Logan, Frances Ann
Passed away peacefully on Monday, September 6, 2021 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 76. Loving mother of Albert Devin (Maria Zimmerling) and the late Cory Devin (Cathy Battah). Cherished grandmother of Lesia, Tyler, Mason, Connor, and Brody. Dear sister of Jayne, Marc, and Charlie. Frances will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, as well as her many co-workers at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
Frances was a dedicated Phlebotomist at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for many years. She was also active with St. Gregory’s Catholic Church. Frances, also known as ‘Mum’ to many, will be remembered for her kindness, giving spirit, sparkling smile and her sweet laugh. She was the energizer bunny, always full of energy, a fierce warrior when she received her cancer diagnosis, and always had a kind word and smile for anyone who crossed her path.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 2-5 p.m. at the Armstrong Funeral Home. Due to COVID19 restrictions, registration is required to attend the visitation. If you wish to attend, please visit www.armstrongfh.ca or call 905-433-4711 to register. A Private Mass will be held at St. Gregory’s Roman Catholic Church at a later date.
