Retired Ottawa Fire Department Captain
July 28, 1947 – Sept. 3, 2021
Wayne Foster of Burnstown, Ontario. Dearly loved husband of Sheila (Tosh) of 54 years. Cherished father of Corey (Becky) of Arnprior and Nancy (Barry Fulton) of Calabogie. Former co-owner of the Ottawa West Golden Knights Jr. B’s. Long-time, avid golfer at Calabogie Highlands & Myrtle Beach, S.C. Wayne was a proud two time hole-in-one golfer. Son of late Platoon Chief John Foster and Jessie (Moffitt). Treasured Papa of Jessica (Sam Flynn), Curtis Foster (Madi), Mackenzie Foster (Liam), Grace Foster, Monica Fulton (Neal), Lindsay Fulton (Jacob) and Zach Fulton. Adored Great-Papa to Ben Flynn. Step-Papa to Jacob Fulton (Mary) and Molly Mullen (Denver) and families. Much loved and respected older brother of Glen (Laura), Debbie (Al Fleming), Robert (Ann), Brian (Rita) and Gordon (Ann). Special brother-in-law to Paul Tosh (Wendy), Shirley (Tom Holly) and the late Brian Tosh. Wayne will be loved and remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews.
An outdoor Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021 at the Calabogie Highlands from 2:00-4:00 pm. Covid protocols will be in effect. Donations may be made to the Renfrew Victoria Hospital or Hospice Renfrew. Online condolences/donations may be made at www.gouletfuneralhome.com
