Addario, Michael George (1945 – 2021)
It is with broken hearts that the family of Michael announce his passing on Monday, September 6, 2021. Michael passed away at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 75 with the love of family by his side after a brief but courageous battle of cancer.
Dear and loving father of Michael (Diana), Robert (Victoria), Kristen Finch and Lesley (Stu). Cherished by his grandchildren Brooke Addario, Chloe, Anthony, Nicholas and Avery Finch. Forever missed by his brother Jim Addario (Angela) and his niece Nichole. Predeceased by his parents James and Theresa Addario. Survived by the mother of his four children, Jaqueline Addario.
Michael will be dearly missed by his close friends in The Marquis and the Steve Burnside Blues Band and the Upsilon Psi Omega fraternity.
Michael was a successful business man both in New York and back home in Welland. He was a very proud father who encouraged his children to travel and to live life to the fullest. He enjoyed baseball, movies and conversations while relaxing on his porch. Most of all, Michael enjoyed spending time with his family. His caring nature, warm smile and laugh will always be remembered.
In keeping with Michael’s wishes, cremation has taken place.The family will gather for a private graveside service at Holy Cross Cemetery.
