Karen was a loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family. Her passions were deeply rooted in the arts. She was truly a dancer at heart who loved the ballet barre and even performed with the Windsor Light Opera as a young woman. Karen was also a talented musician, who loved playing and performing guitar and vocals with her dear friend Bakhus for over 20 years. She was a gifted poet and published author. Her poetry reflected her life’s journey and will always remain in our hearts.
And I break free
From the fragile hold
Of winters storm
To weep on ground
With morning doves
Of healing breeze
