Raymond A. Boone
1934-2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of
Raymond Arthur Boone of Summerford on Wednesday evening September 1,
2021 at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre; at the age of 86
years. He was predeceased by his wife Mabel Boone; parents Ada
& William Boone; brother Ronald Boone; son-in-law Galen
Anstey; brothers-in-laws: Gerald Langdon & Wilbert Pelley;
sister-in-law Sybil Boone.
Raymond leaves with fond and loving memories: wife Daisy;
sons: Wayne (Maxine) and Glen; daughters: Catherine (David) Holloway,
Peggy Boone, Maureen (Maurice) Potter, Netta Anstey and Dallas (Rick)
Carrigan; grandchildren: Dylan, Bradley, Scott (Vickki), Adam
(Jennelle), Chad (Paulina), Jordan, Robert (Erica); great
grandchildren: Nathan, Lincoln, parker, Leo and June; brothers: Mackey
(Diane), Don (Bride) and Lloyd; sisters: Mildred Langdon,
Florence Pelley, Margaret (John) Boone, Ruby (Carl) Hillier and Betty
(Watson) Saunders; and sister-in-law Betty Boone. In addition
Raymond’s leaves his extended family, Daisy’s
children: Clifford Wheeler, Garfield (Pat) Wheeler, Bruce (Eileen)
Watkins, Daphne (Mike) Anstey, Roxanne (Brian) Hawkins and Lorraine
Wheeler; and their families; as well as a large circle of
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Donations in Raymond’s memory maybe given to his
family.
In light of the current Covid-19 pandemic, the health and
safety of our families and our community continues to be our highest
priority. At this time, there will be a
public visitation from the Pentecostal
Church, Summerford on Sunday, from 2-4 pm and 7-9pm. Funeral
service will take place on Monday September 6, 2021 at 2pm; with
Pastor Hardy Troake officiating.
