Neil Tisdale
November 30, 1946 – August 26, 2021
It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Neil Francis Tisdale announce his peaceful passing surrounded by his loving family at home on August 26, 2021, aged 74 years. He was a loving and devoted husband, an amazing father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle.
Predeceased by his parents Neil and Eileen (Glynn) Tisdale; stepfather Patrick O’Leary; grandparents Francis and Mary Glynn and Francis and Leita (Guyatt) Tisdale; special Aunt Mary Kiss and Betty Fryc; and special cousins Ros Chislett and Gordie Kiss.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his devoted wife and best friend of 56 years Judy (O’Leary); two loving daughters who loved him more than life itself and was proud to call him Dad, Annette (Mike) Joy and Michelle (Arlene) Cumby; and his granddaughter Melissa (Jordan) Elliott who was his pride and joy and whom he always considered as his third daughter. He also leaves behind his special little fur buddy Rocky; special sister Helen (Sherb) Lang of Vermont, USA; his nephews who were proud to call him “Uncle Neil”: Chris, Greg and Sherb Lang, and their families; stepsisters Madonna and Jeanette; stepbrother Donald; cousins Gerry and Judy; and numerous other family members and friends.
We would like to give a big thank you to all of the medical professionals who helped Dad and us along the way.
At Neil’s request, cremation has taken place. Mass and burial will take place at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association.
