Obituary of STEVEN WARNAR
STEVEN WARNAR
July 16, 1948 – August 25, 2021
It is with profound sadness and broken hearts we announce the passing of Steven Warnar of Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 73.
Steve will be remembered by his loving wife Anita. His children Curtis (Amanda), Cara (Ryan) and his grandchildren Sophie, Winston, Eva and Cobie as well as his brothers Danny (Sandra) and Garry. Also, numerous nieces & nephews and extended family: The Fisher’s, The Erhardt’s & The Temple’s.
Steve was predeceased by his first wife Rosemarie, parents Stephen & Mabel and sister Cathy.
Steve worked for 40+ years in the HVAC business in Saskatoon & Winnipeg. His last job being with SMS Engineering. He thoroughly enjoyed working there.
Steve loved to travel with Anita. They enjoyed travel to Mexico, Costa Rica, Cuba, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, various USA states including Hawaii, Italy & Eastern Europe.
Great memories!
One of Steve’s hobbies was painting. He was very artistic & painted many beautiful works of art. Many of which are hanging in the house.
Steve had the best sense of humour. He had a way with words and had a great way of spinning stories.
Steve was an avid Winnipeg Blue Bomber fan and enjoyed friendly rivalry with family Sask. Roughrider fans.
Through his life he enjoyed participating in many sports. Golfing was one of his favourites.
Thanks to Dr S Banerji & staff @ Cancer Care Manitoba. Also, huge thanks to the staff in Palliative Care @ St Boniface Hospital.
A Celebration of life will be held @ a later date in Saskatoon, Sask.
Donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba or St Boniface Hospital palliative care unit.
