It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Edward Ralph Kerzner on Tuesday August 23, 2021. Ed was born in Ottawa on July 15, 1935 to Bessie and Isaac Kerzner. He is survived by his daughters, Beth Flesher (Ian) and Cari Meil (Bill). Ed is predeceased by the love of his life, Judith and his son, Mark Kerzner. Eddie was also predeceased by his siblings Benjamin Kerzner, Rachel Wise, Sara Leibov, Charlotte Slack, Nellie Schlesinger, Sydney Kerzner and Morris Kerzner. Ed is survived by his daughter in law Arlene Kerzner, his grandchildren Marissa Shabtay (Erez), Amanda Amar (Shauli), Shane Kerzner, Erica Flesher, Dalia Kerzner, Samuel Meil, and Jorie Meil, and his great-grandchildren Emi, Liam and Ari Shabtay, Michaela and Elai Amar. Ed was the founder and owner of SK Sheet Metal and a beloved business associate of many. He was an avid golfer at the Rideauview Golf Club. The family is forever grateful for the amazing, care, love and support of Ed’s caregivers, Heather MacDonald and Tina Prime that they gave him over the last 4 years. Ed lived a long and good life. His love for his family gave him the most pride. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Shiva will be held at 90 George Street, Apartment 1802 on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 7pm-9pm. Those who are fully vaccinated, masked and have registered their attendance on the funeral home website RSVP below are welcome to attend.
