Obituary of John David Kenney
Kenney, John David- 68, Sheet Harbour passed away suddenly Friday August 20, 2021. Born in Sheet Harbour March 5, 1953 he was a son of the late Harry and Ruth (Jewers) Kenney. John was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He had a few jobs over the years, but was a long-time truck driver for companies, Chariot Express (Calgary), RTL (Florida), Diamond Mines (NWT) and the ice fields up north. He enjoyed cooking big meals for his family and friends, travelling with the love of his life of 46 years, hunting and fishing with his grandson and spending quality time with his family and friends. A caring, loving family man, who would be the first to lend a helping hand to anyone. John leaves behind his wife Connie, daughter Elizabeth (Dangulo), grandchildren Clay, Brooke (Donovan), great grandson Kiari, sisters; Juanita (Gary) Whitman, Betty (Melvin) Hubley, brothers; Danny, Roger (Margaret), Leonard (Kathy), Bobby (Kim), Russell (Robin), Mike (Natasha), Kendall (Heather), and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son Chris, and sister Marguerite Kenney. A graveside service will be held Wednesday August 25 at 2 pm in St. James United Church Cemetery, Sheet Harbour, Rev.
