90 years, passed away peacefully at Erie Shores HealthCare surrounded in love. By his side his loving wife of 60 years, Elena (Serafini), daughters Mary and Linda. Dear brother of the late Michele DiMenna and wife Angiolina, the late Prudenza and husband, the late Umberto Palomba, the late Filomena DiMenna. Brother in law of Elisabetta and Tony Orlando, Giovaninna and Tony Colasanti and Gina and Tony Pallotto. Reunited with his parents Genuino and Antoinetta DiMenna.
He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Antonio was an extraordinary man and led an exceptional quality of life until the very end. He battled his illness with courage, determination, a sense of humour and with hope.
His passion was gardening and providing for his family. He always went out of his way to help and support anyone in need. He will be missed dearly but take comfort in knowing he will be reunited with many loved ones.Ti vogliamo bene fino al giorno in cui ci riuniremo per sempre. Riposare in pace.
Visitation at the Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street, Leamington (519-326-2631) on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael’s Church, 29 Elliott Street, Leamington. Interment Erie Memorial Gardens. Due to COVID restrictions, visitation and Mass is limited to a specific number of visitors. Only those with an appointment will be allowed in. Please book an appointment at www.reidfuneralhome.ca. Everyone must wear a mask. If desired, memorial donations made by cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
