BROWN, Marion Elizabeth (nee Price) (April 3, 1933 – August 19, 2021) –
It is with heavy hearts, we the family wish to announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Marion Elizabeth (Price) Brown, a former resident of Hickory Hills, Tillsonburg, on August 19th, 2021, at the Chartwells Aylmer L.T.C., at the age of 88. Marion was born in Harvey, New Brunswick, to the late Helen (Morehouse) Price and the late Charles Price. Predeceased by her much-loved husband, Ronald Brown (2008). Marion was an avid volunteer and a strong community benefactor. She will be remembered for her unending dedication and volunteering to the Salvation Army, Tillsonburg, for her time with Meals on Wheels, and more recently, her volunteering within Chartwells Aylmer L.T.C. Marion is a past member of Otterville United Church and was a former dedicated employee with Johnson Controls, Tillsonburg. Marion was the proud and loving mother to her children and their families: Lynne Pilkey (Doug), of Tillsonburg; Craig Brown (Beverly), of Mississauga and daughters Alana, Laura; Valerie Brown (Gilles Deschenes), of Quebec and their sons Maurice, Andre; Kevin Brown (Donna), of Goderich, and their daughters Erica, Ashley; Dale Brown (Heather), of Almonte, and their children Ryan, Krista, Danielle. Marion was the proud great-grandmother to 7. She is also survived by four siblings Betty, Audrey, Roger, George, as well as by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by three siblings Allan, Herb, and Eileen.
In Celebrating Marion’s Legacy and a Life well lived, a Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 23rd, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes- Burial and Cremation Services Inc. Chapel, 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg, under the caring guidance of Rev. Pat Cook, of Otterville United Church. All are invited to attend a public visitation on Monday, August 23rd, from 12:00 noon, until 1 p.m. service time.
