William Stuart Houston born in Montreal passed away peacefully at the Fairmont Retirement Home in Glenburnie at the age of 99. Beloved husband of the late Joyce Benton, the late Evalyn Miller and the late Grace Smith.
He is survived by his children, Carol Anne Leonard (Robert), Daniel Houston (Patricia) Bonnie Luijkenaar (Rene); Stepchildren, Linda Obenauf (Axel), Diana Miller Wesley (Cliff), Terry Miller (Deb), Heather Holmes and Donna Benton-Roy. Grandchildren, Scott, Trevor, Elliot, Aaron: Step Grandchildren, Jennifer, Allison: Great Granchildren Nia, Sophia, William and Lottie.
Leave dads …served in the navy…. And retired after 30 years service in Bell Northern R & D Labs Ottawa. He lived his retirement years in Cardinal.
Funeral Arrangements
A graveside service will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery in Cardinal on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 11:30am. Arrangements entrusted to the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Cardinal. Donations to St. Paul’s Anglican Church would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. If you are making your donation online or by cheque directly to the charity, please include the following note with your gift “please notify the family”.
