Death Notice
Gerald Norman Hammett
April 3, 1933- August 5, 2021
Gerry was one of five children of William and Marie (nee Cass) Hammett. He is predeceased by his sister Joan and his brother Paul (Barb). He is survived by his sister Carol Duff (Jim) and his brother Edward Hammett.
He was married to Nancy (nee Watson) for 60 years, prior to her death in 2019.
Gerry made a living designing and installing retail interiors. He lived to golf and curl, often with Nancy. He liked to drink beer.
He was funny and kind. Dogs, children and his nieces and nephews loved him. He will be missed by his Watson relatives who enjoyed some lively times with him in his last years.
Thank you to Gerry’s caregivers at Highview Residence in London, Ontario for their kindness to him in his last years.
