Obituary of Margaret Corbett, 43, New Waterford, Sydney
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Margaret Corbett, age 43 of Sydney on Saturday, August 14th, 2021 at the CBRH, Sydney.
Born in New Waterford, she was the daughter of Richard “Richie” and the late Margaret Ann (MacIntosh) Corbett.
Margaret was once employed at the Dollar Store and a local flower shop in New Waterford. She loved cats, listening to music and will be remembered as a quiet and nice person.
Margaret is survived by two daughters, Matty and Emma as well as three sons, Terrance (Kayla), Justin, Brandon, nieces, nephews and her favorite aunt, Lillian Power.
Besides her mother, Margaret was predeceased by her grandparents, John and Sarah Corbett and Martin and Margie Power.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of VJ McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith Street, New Waterford.
A private burial will be held in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Margaret may be made to your local SPCA or a charity of one’s choice.
