Obituary
Mel is survived by his wife of 34 years Mary, daughters Tammy (John), Cindy (Drew), Holly, stepdaughters Cindy, Debby (Lewis) and Liza (Don).
Mel was a proud grandpa (Deda) to 11 grandchildren and 6 great- grandchildren.
He will also be missed by his brother, four sisters and their families, extended family and friends.
Anyone who met Mel will always remember his Love of the Lord, his passion for hunting, the creativity with wood furniture and his talent for making sausage and jerky.
He was a kind man who had a heart of gold and would help anyone who needed it. His infectious smile and loving eyes will not be forgotten.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Life will be held at the Gospel Chapel at 2:00pm on September 18, 2021 in Grand Forks.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the YWAM or the Samaritans Purse in Mel’s honor.
