Audrey Mabel Hoggart, age 95 years old, passed at home, with
family by her side, on Monday, July 26, 2021. She resided in Montague,
formerly Ontario. Audrey was born in Gaspe, Quebec, August 5, 1925,
and was the daughter of the late Rupert and Helena (Patterson) Miller
and devoted wife of the late Ross Hoggart.
Audrey is
survived by her loving children Mary Elliott, Craig (Sharon)MacQueen,
Stephen, (Lucy) MacQueen, Bill (Lynn) MacQueen, Betty (Keith) Newton,
Angus (Tracy) MacQueen, Monty (Debbie) MacQueen, and Roy MacQueen. All
children of the late Donald MacQueen. She is survived by sister,
Eileen (Anson) Boyle, brother (Everett (Dorothy) Miller, twenty five
cherished grandchildren, eighteen adored great grandchildren, several
cousins, nieces and nephews. Audrey was predeceased by her, daughters
Peggy and Pauline, as well as her sister, Greta and brothers, Melvin,
Roy and Leigh.
Audrey lived a full life. She
was an avid reader, and traveller. She loved to laugh, to reminisce
about her life with her big family, to dance, (especially step
dancing), and to enjoy her friends from across
Canada.
Audrey will be forever
remembered and loved by her family, friends and neighbours, who she
loved to spend time with. She had a huge heart with a smile to match.
She will be greatly missed by all.

to Dr. A. MacLeod, the staff at the Kings County Memorial Hospital,
the Montague Palliative Care, and Home Care nurses, as well as the
first responders and paramedics. They all went above and beyond for
Audrey and her family.

Cancer Society, and the Montague Palliative Care and Home Care would
be appreciated.
The visitation will be by
invitation only, due to Covid restrictions, and a memorial service
will be held in Ontario in 2022.
