1961-2021
Vernon (Vern) Scott Hoar, 59, of Riverview passed away
suddenly on July 22, 2021. Born in Riverside-Albert on August 19,
1961, he was the son of Donald and Mabel (Tingley)
Hoar.
Vernon was well respected in the construction industry and a
valued employee at Atlantic Underground Services for the last 37
years. He was an avid outdoor recreationist and spent every weekend at
the cottage with his wife, boating and fishing on the river with good
friends. He also loved spending time with his
grandchildren.
He is survived and missed by his beloved wife Teryl Hoar
(Fullerton), mother Mabel Hoar and mother-in-law Linda Fullerton. Sons
Scott (Kari) Hoar and Mitchel (Sharon) Hoar, both of Riverview.
Daughter Zaikra Fullerton of Moncton. Grandchildren Brody, Jaynie,
Woden, Vidar, Freya, Chloe, and Liam. Siblings Pamela (Glendon)
Steeves, Gareth (Jacquie), Cathy (Dave) MacFadyen, Donald (Alma),
Phyllis. Many nephews and nieces. His best friends Paul Agnew, Bruce
and the late Wayne Wolfe.
Predeceased by his father, Donald Hoar and father-in-law
Gerry Fullerton.
A visitation celebrating Vern’s life will be held at Tuttle
Brothers Riverview Funeral Home on Thursday, July 29th, 2021 from
2:00pm until 4:00pm and 7:00pm until 9:00pm
Donations in
Vern’s memory made to the charity of the donor’s choice would be
appreciated by the family.
