March 1, 1941 ~ July 13, 2021
On July 13, 2021, Verle Sproull slipped into a peaceful and eternal sleep surrounded by his beloved wife of 53 years, Diana (nee Melnyk); children Terry (Gaylene) Sproull, Lori (Cameron) Hall & Jenn (Azriel) St. Michael.
Verle will be deeply missed by his brother, Gordon Sproull; granddaughter Courtney (Eldon) Holinaty and their children Elissa, Jaxon & Harley; grandson Cody (Danielle) Chubey and their children Daysha, Chance & Khloe; grandson Johnathan Hall; and sister in law Audrey Sproull. Verle was also blessed with numerous nieces and nephews that share in our grief.
Verle is predeceased by his parents John ‘Abby’ & Josephine Sproull; siblings Victor, Tom, Evelyn & Viola; Diana’s parents Paul & Mary Melnyk; sisters-in-law Agnes and Juanita; brothers-in-law Bill and Victor; the mother of his son, Florence; and his beloved yorkie Nico.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of the RUH Coronary Care Unit with special thanks to Dr. Janine Eckstein.
In lieu of other tributes, please consider donating to the Prince Albert SPCA, 1125 North Industrial Drive, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, as Dad believed every animal should be loved.
A Celebration of Verle’s Life will be held at 1:00 P.M on Monday, July 19, 2021 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 28th Street West, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Interment to follow at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Chapel, (306) 922-4729.
