Obituary of Oliver “Olly” Cardinal
Peacefully at the Perth Site of the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital on Saturday, July 3rd, 2021 Olly passed away at the age of 79. Loving husband and best friend for over 55 years to Anne Cardinal (nee Honeyman). Cherished father of Peter Cardinal and Catherine (Ted) Livingston. Proud grandfather of Curtis and Dawson. Dear brother of Harold Cardinal, Ken (Judy) Cardinal and brother-in-law of Donna Cardinal and Amelie (Garry) Smith. Predeceased by his siblings Ernest (Theresa) Cardinal, Michael (Verna) Cardinal, Lorna (Clarence) Dennie, Engeline (Tonny) Baas, and Wayne Cardinal. Olly will be fondly remembered by Anne’s cousin Chris Weidmark (Susan), and by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A private family graveside ceremony will take place. In remembrance of Olly, contributions to the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
