Obituary
On Sunday, July 4, 2021 Carole Wishart passed away peacefully at the age of 69 with her family by her side. Family was a priority for her, which is why she enjoyed quality time during holidays and special occasions, especially the ones that involved her grandchildren whom she adored. Carol had a great sense of humor, so full of mischief, very much one of a kind. Her home was always open to neighbours, friends and family, her cupboards full of sweets and her house filled with the sounds of country music.
Carol never shied away from hard work; she spent 21 years working as a home care professional, a career she loved and in which she was highly regarded. She loved being in nature with her furry companion Max; whether trail walking, out on the ATV, chopping and stacking wood, gardening or at the beach.
Carol is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Bob; her son Jeff; her daughter Andrea (James); three grandchildren, Keegan, Mckenzie and Hunter; mother, Elizabeth Owsiak; four sister, Susan (Alex), Mary (Larry), Julie and Bev (Ed); one brother Andy (Vicki); many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Carol was predeceased by her father Andrew Owsiak in 2000.
Rest in peace Momma, life just won’t be the same without you.
Carole’s family will celebrate her memory privately.
In memory of Carol, and in lieu of floral tributes, the family would like donations to go to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada – Manitoba Division, 100- 1465 Buffalo Place, Winnipeg, MB R3T 1L8.
A tree will be planted in memory and cared for by McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel. 204-857-4021 www.mckenziesportagefuneralchapel.com
