Lawrence Russell ‘Larry’ Bott of Wroxeter and formerly of Gorrie, passed away at Royal Terrace, Palmerston, on Monday, July 5, 2021, in his 77th year.
Loving husband of Shirley (Stauffer) Bott for 59 years.
Father of Stephen & Karen Bott, Wayne Bott, and Dean & Laurie Bott, all of Gorrie. Grandfather of Tara Bott, Shaun Bott, Theresa & David Keating, Joshua Bott, and Caleb Bott, and great-grandfather of 6.
Brother of Judy & Don Stumpf of Salem, and Rosalyn & Dennis Edwards of Manitoba, and brother-in-law of Bob & Wendy Stauffer of Listowel, Denise Bott of Mitchell, and Vivian Bott of Manitoba, and remembered by his nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Predeceased by his parents Lawrence & Verna (Cudney) Bott, and by his brothers Arden and John.
Visitation will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston, on Tuesday, July 13th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Visitors must schedule a time to attend by clicking RSVP (below), or by calling 519-338-2441.
A private family funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Mike Hutchinson officiating. The service will be live-streamed and the link available on the funeral home website.
Interment in Maple Grove Cemetery, Howick Township.
Memorial donations to Fordwich BIC Community Church, or Palmerston Hospital would be appreciated.
The family would like to express their thanks to everyone at Royal Terrace, Palmerston, for the kindness and care they provided during the four weeks Larry stayed with them.
