Obituary of Raymond John Killam
It is with broken hearts that the family of Raymond John Killam announce his sudden passing on June 28, 2021. Raymond is predeceased by his wife Tanya Whittal, his brother Sean Killam, his grandparents Nina and Garland Card and Theresa Killam. Left to mourn are his mother, Mary Killam of Badger, Nl, his daughter, Stephanie Butt (Tim Anstey), his sons Christopher Killam (Kristy Simms) and Corey Killam (Megan Howse), his grandchildren Melissa White, Cole and Lincoln Killam and Arya Rose Anstey, his sister Faye Hogle (Tyler), nieces Paige, Victoria and Kaylee, nephews Bradley and Brandon. Great nieces Ava, Nova and Macey and great nephews Tyson, Levi and Lucas, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Also friend and companion Darlene Trimmings and good buddy Dave Thorne.
In Calgary he leaves his stepchildren Jasmine and Wyatt along with many friends he gained throughout the years.
Raymond grew up primarily in Badger and Island Harbour, NL but eventually settled in Calgary, Alberta where he found his passion for walking the steel. Ray felt as comfortable hundreds of feet in the air as he did with his feet firmly planted on the ground. He loved and was most contented being outdoors, in the woods or on his boat fishing.
Following all COVID-19 restrictions, visitation will take place from Faith Covenant Church in Badger on Sunday, July 4th, 2021 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm Funeral service will take place at 2pm the following day, Monday, July 5th, 2021. Pallbearers are Christopher Killam, Corey Killam, Brandon Killam, Bradley Hogle, Tyler Hogle and David Thorne.
