Obituary For Albert Patrick Rupert
Albert Patrick Rupert, age 64, passed away peacefully on June 27th 2021, at his home in Clairmont, AB. He was born on May 8, 1957 in Wetaskiwin, AB to Lauri and Wilf Rupert. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Pamela Rupert, along with their six children Annette (Scott), Lacey (Rob), Sherisse (Justin), Ashley (Nick), Tyler (Shelby) and Falyn, his mother Lauri Rupert; his brother, Clint; his brother in-laws, Kelly and Wayne. He is predeceased by his father, Wilf Rupert and his brother Stacey. He was a proud grandfather to Tyler, Paisley, Olivia, Molly, Kingston, Layla, Kennedy, Cruz, Maverick and Emmett.
Albert was a devoted family man and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed curling, fishing, hunting, quadding, camping, golfing and snowmobiling. Road trips with Pam were a big part of his life, they travelled everywhere from Alaska down to Mexico, but he loved nothing more than spending time in Las Vegas. Albert was arguably the biggest fan of the Calgary Flames and Stampeders, he had enough memorabilia to prove it.
Albert grew up in Edson, moved to Hay River to raise his family, then moved to Grande Prairie where he settled and married Pam in 1998. He worked in the oil field and earned his well deserved retirement on June 30, 2014. Albert will be missed for his cheesy jokes, his off the wall ring tones, and his flashy attire.
Nothing made him happier than seeing his kids succeed and grandchildren happy. He will be missed immensely by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A celebration of life will be held at his home in Clairmont, AB on Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 12 to 4pm.

Death notice for the town of: Grande-Prairie, Province: Alberta
My condolences to the entire family. Albert and I went on many adventures together up North. He was a great friend who I had many laughs with. We owned a boat together, surprising we didn’t sink it on one of our crazy trips! He will be missed!
