Bernice’s Obituary
Passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at St. Clare’s Hospital, St. John’s, NL, Mrs. Bernice Mary Knee, age 70 years.
She was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Gladys Starkes; sisters, Carrie Quinlan and Myrtle (Eli King). Left to mourn her passing with fond and loving memories are her husband, Bill; step-children, Sterling (Dora), Verna (John Shearing), Angela (Wayne Brett), Edna (Francois);siblings, Blanche (Joe Sturge), Marjorie (Pleman King); brother-in-law, Gordon Quinlan and a large circle of step-grandchildren, step- great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Sunday, July 4th from 2-4 PM following COVID government regulations. The Funeral Service will take place from the Philadelphia Pentecostal Church, Lewisporte on Monday, July 5th at 10:30 AM for invited guests only. Interment will follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Valleyfield.
As expressions of sympathy & In lieu of flowers, donations to The Philadelphia Pentecostal Church, Lewisporte will be gratefully accepted.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte.
