Bernard Arthur Dixon May 9th 1949 June 28th 2021

It is with much sadness the family of Bernard “Bernie” Dixon announce his peacefully passing which occurred at home surrounded by love on Monday, June 28, 2021. He was aged 72 years of Little Harbor, PE. He is predeceased by his wife Gaylene (nee MacGregor) and will be forever loved and remembered as a caring father to Brenda Joan Taylor (Blaine) and a special grampie to Sarah Gayle (my girl). Bernie will be deeply missed by his dear friend and close companion Marla MacDonald.
Also, to mourn his loss are siblings Alan Dixon (Joyce), Pauline Cantello (George), Beverley O’Keefe, Sefton Dixon (Sandra), brother-in-law Peter Ching and sister-in-law Joyce Dixon. In addition, he is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended families. Predeceased by his parents Howard and Rita (nee MacDonald) Dixon, sisters Joan Ching, Gloria Stevenson (Eddie), Doris Coffin (Ross) and brother Claude.
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home where visiting hours will take place for immediate family and friends. A funeral service will be held at the Kingsboro Baptist Church for invited guests with interment to follow in the Kingsboro Cemetery. If so desired, donations in memory of Bernie can be made to the PEI Cancer Treatment Centre, the PEI Humane Society, or the Kingsboro Cemetery Fund and would be appreciated by the family.
