On June 24, 2021, Marnie went into the arms of her Lord and Saviour at the age of 90.
She is survived by her husband Douglas; children, Alex (Margaret), Janet (Paul), Kim (Bruce), Barb (Dave), Sean, and Stephen; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Marnie was a teacher for 44 years, teaching all over Canada. She received the NorthwestTel Aroura Award of Excellence for her outstanding contribution for the performing arts and a teaching award for her work in the NWT. Marnie was a founding member of the NACC Theater, and she received awards in B.C. for her passion and contribution in drama and education.
A Celebration of Marnie’s Life will be announced on a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of your choice.
