Bella Eileen Lindsay 1931 2021

Lindsay, Bella Eileen, 89, Onslow Mountain, passed away
peacefully on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, in the Colchester East Hants
Health Centre, Truro. Born in Onslow Mountain, she was the daughter of
the late Duncan and Annie (Crowe) Delaney. Bella was a kind caring
gentle soul, loved her life and family, and adored all children. She
was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a stay
at home of six children, Duncan (Zoe), grandson Aaron (Amber);
great-grandson, Paul, grandson, Jeff (Chrissy), great-granddaughters,
Hayley and Quin, Percy, Ricky (Bonnie), granddaughters, Stacey, Gail
(Bill); granddaughter, Christina (Devin); great-granddaughter, Teagon;
granddaughters Kate (Matt), Amy, Madelyn (Greg), grandson, Travis
(Emma); daughter-in-law, Barb.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Sam;
son, Paul.
No visitation by family request.
An immediate family only graveside service will take place on
Saturday, June 26, 2021, at 11:00 am, in Crossroads Cemetery, Valley,
with Reverend Valerie Kingsbury officiating. Arrangements are under
the direction of the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street,
Truro. (Due to Covid-19 restrictions, only 75
people are allowed to attend. Facemasks must be worn and please
practice physical distancing.) Donations in memory may be made to the
Alzheimer’s Society. A special thank you to the Palliative Care of
Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, and to all the nurses on
D-Wind.
