Obituary of Ruth Laura Taylor
Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, June 25, 2021 the death occurred of Ruth Laura Taylor (nee MacLean) of Charlottetown, formerly of Orwell, age 90 years.
Ruth is survived by her daughter Bonita Taylor and son Rick Taylor, stepson Malcolm Taylor, granddaughters Cara Squires (Jeff), Christina Cook, and grandson Jamie MacDonald (Melissa), great grandchildren Jacob Squires, Cameron Squires, Christopher Hedefine, Jace MacDonald, Jayden MacDonald and James MacDonald. She was predeceased by her parents Clarence and Edith (Lane) MacLean, husband Ernest Taylor, daughters Linda Cook and Karen Taylor-MacLeod, granddaughter Robin Hedefine and grandson Scott Taylor.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where a private graveside ceremony will follow at Orwell Corner United Cemetery, Orwell.
Memorial donations may be made to Sir Andrew Macphail Foundation (Orwell Corner Historic Village).
