Steven Lynn Farmer – age 65 of Strawberry Plains was born June 23, 1956 to Jim and Ada Farmer, and passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 23, 2021. He was a 1974 graduate of Carter High School and worked for many years at Maytag.
Preceded in death by wife, Martha Hickey Farmer; and mother, Ada Loveday Farmer.
Survived by father, Jimmy (Blanche) Farmer; sister, Ginger (Tony) Evans; and step-children, Cristi Summers and Dusty Roach.
The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Monday, June 28, 2021, at Bridges Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet 9:45 AM Tuesday at Thorn Grove Cemetery for a 10:00 AM graveside service with Rev. Bobby Province officiating.
