Obituary of Geraldine Maria Nobiss
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Geraldine Maria Nobiss (nee White) on Monday, June 21st, 2021, with her husband and children at her side.
She is survived by her loving husband Dolph, her children Neil (Linda) Nobiss, Gerald Nobiss, Carrie (Graeme) Smith and grandchildren Tyler (Katie), Alyssa (Joey), Karly (Tyler), Joshua, Meagan, Chelsea, Cassidy, Jessalynn (Mitchell), Serena (Shawn), Braeden and Natalie. She will be lovingly remembered by her 13 great grandchildren, extended family, and cherished friends.
She was predeceased by her parents James and Carolina White, and her brothers John and Jim.
Gerry was born on December 26th, 1938, in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. She moved to Winnipeg as a young girl where she later met her husband, Dolph. They were married in Winnipeg on September 6th, 1958. They purchased their family home in Weston where they became involved members of St. Thomas Anglican Church and Weston Community Center. While raising her family, she worked multiple clerical jobs ending at the Department of Education. She will be lovingly remembered for her humour, her kind heartedness, creative endeavours, and legendary scrabble skills.

A special thank you to the staff at Ste. Anne’s Hospital for their kindness and compassion.
Cremation has taken place.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in the memory of Geraldine may be made to a charity of your choice.
