Obituary of Wilfred Ford
Wilfred Ford of Tofield, AB was born on November 5, 1935 to Zora and Alec Ford at Lamont, AB; he passed away at Lamont, AB on June 10, 2021 at the age of 85 years.
He is survived by his wife Shirley (nee Holtz); children Jeanne Petrie (John McGann), Arlene Nicholls (George), Cheryl Ford (Tim Patrie), and Wesley Ford; three grandchildren Jennifer, Matthew, and Jaci, and five great grandchildren Pyper, Robyn, Kaidan, Karson, Abby Gail; two sisters Phelma Schertel and Wilma Odiorne; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Zora and Alec; three sisters Fern, Verna, and Edythe.
Due to covid19 restrictions a private family service will be held. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will take place at the Cavell Cemetery, Chipman, AB.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society, or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
