Obituary of Beverley Jean Thorne
Peacefully, on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at the age of 74, Beverly Jean (nee Lennox) now rests and awaits her Saviour’s return. Cherished wife of John Thorne for 54 years. Loving mother of Damon (Sheri), Dana (Jim), and Dustin (Suzanne). Dear sister of Dave, Stan, and Ron. Wonderful Nanna to Madison, Macy, Liam, Landon, Tiegan, Keeli, Tristen, and Nolan. Beloved sister-in-law of Peter (Anu), Adair (Doug), Wendy (late Arthur), and David (Gloria). Auntie Bev to Ryan, Amanda, Tyler, Tyson, Sarah, Holly, Sean, Derek, Jonathan, Celeste, and Matthew. Lovingly remembered by many other extended family members and friends from Kingsway College, Willowdale, College Park Church, and the Sunderland and Cannington communities.
A Funeral Service will be held at the College Park Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1164 King Street East in Oshawa on Wednesday, June 16th at 11:00 a.m. (Due to the restrictions of COVID-19, please understand that only those who receive an invitation, may attend the Church). Online viewing of the service will be accessible at www.collegeparkchurch.ca
Bev and John fell in love while attending Kingsway College. As a remembrance, memorial donations to Kingsway College, (www.kingsway.college) would be appreciated by the family.   1. Our hearts go out to the whole family. Bev was always a calming influence to those that came to know her. All our memories of Bev give us a smile, her quiet confidence always shone thru. She will be truly missed by all.
