Obituary
Albert passed away on December 15,2020 at the Grace Hospital age 58 years.
He is survived by his beloved wife Matilda; children Melvina (Norman), Kevin (Holly), Erica, Raquel (Faron), Melanie (Larry), and Kelvin (Rovena), Albert Jr., Meghan, and Jimmy; grandchildren Travis, Christian (Evangeline), Iona whom we raised since birth and 28 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren; 2 brothers; Robert (Jennifer) and Micheal (Vera), and sister Merlyn (Dennis); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. Predeceased by his parents Flora Raven, and John Cowley, god parents Arnold and Edna Hardisty, sister Beatrice Moneyas, brothers Gary Raven, Raymond Raven, and Larry Raven.
My father was many things to many people, of which was an ex-band constable, mentor, a protector, provider, and to the people closest to him he was a papa, friend, and a pioneer in the infrastructure field. But most importantly he was a servant of God. To his children he was always just Dad.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions a private wake service will be held at Eternal Grace Funerals.
Services will be held in Bloodvein First Nation, and Hollow Water First Nation.
Interment will take place at Raven’s Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Albert Raven Jr., Kevin Raven, Cassidy Raven, Faron Young, Reynold Raven, Delbert Bruce, Christian Young.
