Obituary of Betty Craig
CRAIG: Unexpectedly, at London Health Sciences Centre – Victoria Hospital, London, on Monday, May 31, 2021, M. L. Elizabeth “Betty” (Cameron) Craig of London, age 69. Beloved wife of William “Bill” Paul Craig. Loved mother of Lisa Osbitsch of Strathroy. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Christine and Bob McNamara of St. Joseph and Bill Cameron of Fox Creek, Alberta. Remembered by her aunts Audrey McMillian of New York and Julie Rees of Ancaster, the Craig Family, nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Doc Cameron (1987) and Jessie Blanche (Rees) (Cameron) Kinat (2016) of Hensall and brother Dan Cameron (1976). At Betty’s request, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at the Maitland Cemetery, Seaforth. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. Betty was so well known in the nursing profession for her compassion, caring and giving nature during her 40+ years of service. Her co-workers at Mount Hope presented Betty with an award for her dedication and caring attitude. Betty was one of the 12 graduates of the final class at the South Huron Hospital – Registered Nurses Assistant program in 1973.
