Obituary of Carrie Green
GREEN- Carrie (née Good) of Port Colborne passed away peacefully at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on Monday, May 31, 2021 at the age of 88 years. She was predeceased by her loving husband Frank, son Bruce and daughter-in-law Lorraine, parents Edwin and Ellen Good, brother Donald and brother-in-law Paul. Carrie is survived by her son Barry (Sharon) and her daughter Judy (Bryan), 3 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, sisters Edna (Bruce), Sarah (Clyde) and Irene, brother Eugene (Petra). Also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews. Carrie was born in Newfoundland, married in Montreal and lived in Port Colborne where they raised their family. Carrie was a member of the Central United Church, a lifelong member of the UCW and volunteered for various charities. We wish to thank Portal Village, Sarah and Jenn of Family Links, Dr. Scher and Nurse Dawn, the staff at Complex Care Douglas Memorial Hospital for the tender care and compassion shown to Mom. A private family graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
