Obituary of Emma Catherine Thompson
Emma Catherine (Kay) Thompson, St.Paul’s, age 82, born on June 16, 1938 went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday evening May 28, 2021.
She loved the Lord and was very passionate about sharing her faith with anyone that wanted to listen. She enjoyed studying the Bible and listening to Gospel music. Her favorite hymm was The Old Rugged Cross. She loved being a mother, and loved her pets, flowers, traveling and playing cribbage.
She was predeceased by her parents Johnson and Susie (Curnew) Hingley of Trenton, and husband David L. G. Thompson (St. Paul’s)
She is survived by her daughter Susan Thompson (St. Paul ‘s), and son William David (Tasha) Thompson (Bridgeville), step granddaughters Paige and Sidney.
Her brother Reverend Alvin (Marion) Hingley (Humboldt, Sask.),
Nephews Ian (Jennifer), Carl (Cindy) Nieces Catherine (Bruce) Melissa (Steve), and many great nephews and nieces and cousins.
A private funeral Service and Burial to take place at the Hillside Cemetery in Trenton.
