Obituary of Leslie Hein
HEIN, Leslie H. – passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 in his 89th year.
Leslie Hein of Pembroke, husband of the late Christa Hein (nee Mueller). Father of Mark Hein (Treena), Pembroke; Lee-Ann McCann (Tom), Eganville; and Jennifer Arseneau (Yves), Chalk River. Grandpa to Maryon, Margaret, Finlay & Adelaine McCann; and William Arseneau. Son of the late William and Martha Hein (nee Boldt). Predeceased by sisters Mabel Hampel (late Gus), Helen Weisenberg (late Eddie) & Lydia Risto (late Max).
Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141, Renfrew St., Pembroke on Saturday, May 29, 2021 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. DUE TO THE CURRENT RESTRICTIONS REGARDING COVID-19 SET FORTH BY THE BEREAVEMENT AUTHORITY OF ONTARIO, A LIMITED NUMBER OF PEOPLE ARE PERMITTED AT VISITATION. Please call the funeral home at (613) 732-3637 if you wish to attend the visitation and an appointment will be arranged. A private Funeral Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, Pembroke. The public is invited to share in this service online after May 31. Interment in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Zion Lutheran Church, World Vision Canada or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.     We extend our deepest sympathy at this sad time of loss of your dad and grandpa.

    We cherish the times spent visiting here in the Mitchell area and there with your families.
    Your dad always had a quick wit, and a teasing smile to go with it.

    Thanks for inviting us to you dad’s 80th birthday party. It was a very special time enjoyed
    by all. He will be greatly missed.
