Nesbitt, Eleanor Theresa – Age 92, Truro, passed away peacefully in Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at the age of 92.
Eleanor was born on August 12, 1928 in Larry’s River, daughter of the late John Joseph and Annie (Doiron) Avery.
She is survived by her son, Gerald (Janet) Hickey, Timberlea; brother, Edmund (Maureen), Trenton, ON; sisters, Mary Merlin, Truro, Barbara (Dennis) Nash, New Minas as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by loving husband, Everett; brothers, Jim, Bill, Anselm, Tony and Wallace; sisters, Mary Jane, Amelia and one sister in infancy.
Eleanor was an excellent cook and a gracious hostess. She loved having company and you would never leave her home feeling hungry. Some of her past times were crocheting and bingo and she loved her Tim’s coffee. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Truro.
Family would like to thank the staff at Cedarstone for their compassionate care.
