Obituary of Joan Hein
HEIN, Joan Irene – passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the age of 77 years.
Joan Hein (nee Karau) of Pembroke, beloved wife of Norman Hein. Loving mother of son David Hein. Daughter of the late Fred & Selma Karau (nee Schultze). Predeceased by sister Norma Ashick (late Bryan) and brother Raymond Karau (late Tobi).
Respecting Joan’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Due to the restrictions surrounding COVID-19, a virtual Funeral Service will be held from St. John’s Lutheran Church, Pembroke on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., and the public is invited to share in the service live on Facebook at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Pembroke or on the funeral home website after June 6. Interment in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
