Obituary of Marisa Devolder
Devolder: Marisa (nee Meriano) –
A resident of Dover Centre, Marisa Devolder passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the age of 58.
Born in Chatham, Marisa was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Michelina (Celletti) Meriano.
Beloved partner and best friend to Brad MacPhail.
Loving mother to Regan Devolder and Larry Meriano.
Dear sister to Antonietta DeVito (late Gerardo), Jerry Meriano (Claudette), Rita Salvador (John), and Mario Meriano (Stacia).
Also missed by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Marisa was one of a kind, full of life and a joy to be around with the most beautiful soul and smile. Everyone that was lucky enough to spend time with Marisa enjoyed her laughter and kindness.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Marisa’s caregivers and a very special thanks to Dianne McGuire and Carla Laevens for helping with Marisa’s journey.

Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 2:00 – 5:00pm and 7:00 – 9:00pm. Those planning to attend are required to register online at ( signup.com/go/aXkwMBy ) or by phoning the Funeral Home. The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has mandated that everyone attending must wear a mask. Cremation to follow with a Celebration of Marisa’s life to be held at a later date.
Donations made in memory of Marisa to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
